At the confluence of Alberta-Canada’s Bow and Elbow Rivers sits the mighty city of Calgary, home of the Greatest Outdoor show on Earth, the Calgary Stampede!
Even if it were only a rodeo, the annual Calgary Stampede would still be Canada’s largest entertainment event. But nearly three miles of marching bands, horsemen in outfits ranging from rugged to rhinestone dude, horse-drawn wagons, stagecoaches, floats, and native Indians on parade are a bonus! At night, international entertainers hit the stage with everything from Bluegrass to contemporary, creating a frontier of chance. Days are filled with authentic old west activities from rodeo to mock gunfights, to medicine shows, to Indian war dances.
Includes: in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, choice, covered grandstand seats for the rodeo and a huge evening show, plus hundreds of singers, dancers, musicians, bull riding, rodeo clowns, frontier town, chuckwagon races, Indian village, 35 tours and events, 9 meals, and standard Tracks services.
Discounts: $50 early bird for reservations four months or more prior to tour, $100 for reservations 6 months prior to tour (total $150 with the 6-month discount), $50 Good Sam/FMCA membership, $100 past Tracker, $25 internet reservations.
